Holiday Treatment

This treatment is to commence two days before departure.

Corrective Action:

Backwash and rinse the filter thoroughly and empty leaf baskets in weir and pump.
Check and correct the pH to between 7.2 – 7.6.
In the early evening, add 6 cups of HTH® Classic or 2 sachets of HTH® Shock It to the pool and run the filter overnight.
The next day check and adjust the pH.
It is preferable to leave the automatic pool cleaner in the pool but if the premises are unattended while you are away, take it out of the pool and store in a cool, dark and safe place.
Set the time switch to operate the filter from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
While on holiday, get someone to look after the pool by checking the pH once a week and adding 1 cup of HTH® Classic every second day.

Test pool water and adjust pH to 7.2 - 7.6 if necessary.
Remove the wrapping using tear strip.
Select a suitable floater setting for your pool size
- Small (s) less than 40 000 l
- Medium (m) - 40 000 l - 60 000 l
- Large (l) - more than 60 000 l
Hold top and bottom of floater and twist to open. Position on chosen setting.
Place the floater in an upright position in the pool and leave to float freely
Once placed, the unit will automatically shock treat the pool water.
Do not enter the pool until chlorine residual is below 3 ppm. Maintain at between 1 - 3ppm.
The floater will tip to the side when empty.
Replace the floater when empty - approximately every 4 weeks
Backwash pool weekly and top up with fresh water if necessary.
