Filtering Hours
Filtering ensures that the swimming pool water passes through the filter sand every day, thus removing unwanted pollutants and organic materials as quickly as possible. In order to have sufficient filtering, the entire body of water should flow through the filter at least twice in a 24hr period. As a rule of thumb, you should run the filter for 12hrs per day in summer and 8hrs per day in winter.
In a bid to cut down on our energy consumption, we have come up with a power saving tool that will help you cut down on costs without compromising the efficiency of your filtering. The table below represents the amount of time your filter may run in summer as per your pump and pool size. This time allows for the entire body of water to flow through the filter at least twice in a 24hr period. During winter, your filtering time may be halved.
| Pool Size ('000L) | 10 | 15 | 20 | 25 | 30 | 35 | 40 | 45 | 50 | 60 | 70 | 80 | 90 | 100 | |
